Our standards
Useful advice should survive real life.
These principles shape how we commission, write, produce, review, disclose, connect, and update every article, podcast, and video.
Evidence before mythology
We distinguish observable behavior from stereotypes about men or women. Psychological or health claims should be supported by reputable primary research or professional guidance, and uncertainty should be stated plainly.
Agency, consent, and safety
We do not recommend coercion, jealousy tactics, strategic confusion, surveillance, or pressure. Advice about intimacy centers ongoing consent. Advice about warning signs prioritizes safety over preserving a relationship.
Editorial review
Articles are checked for clarity, internal consistency, respectful language, useful examples, and alignment with these standards. Specialized claims should receive an appropriate subject-matter review before publication.
AI-assisted and synthetic content
Enchantment Dating may use generative AI during research organization, outlining, drafting, editing, image creation, audio production, or video production. AI is a production tool, not an author, expert, witness, or source. A human editor remains responsible for the angle, claims, tone, safety, links, disclosures, and final decision to publish.
We do not present generated quotations, testimonials, experiences, research, or credentials as real. We verify factual claims against appropriate sources, do not cite a source that has not been checked, and do not use synthetic media to suggest that a real person participated, endorsed the advice, or said something they did not say. AI-generated editorial images are illustrative and must not be described as documentary photographs of real events.
Fictional digital hosts
A podcast or video presented by a synthetic voice or avatar is labelled where the audience encounters it, not only on this policy page. We use the direct term fictional digital host rather than “artificial person,” which can be legally ambiguous and does not clearly explain what the audience is hearing or seeing.
Standard disclosure
AI disclosure: This program uses AI-generated voices and visual avatars. Mira and Jules are fictional digital hosts, not real people. They do not depict or imitate any real person. The script and final publication are reviewed by Enchantment Dating.
If a production uses only synthetic audio, “visual avatars” is omitted. If a real guest participates, the guest is identified separately and the disclosure makes clear which participants are real and which are fictional. We do not clone or imitate an identifiable person's voice, face, or likeness without documented permission, and permission does not remove the need for a clear disclosure.
Podcast and video disclosure
- On Enchantment Dating: the disclosure appears beside the player and in the episode notes or transcript.
- On Spotify and other podcast services: the disclosure appears near the beginning of the show and episode description and is spoken near the beginning of the episode. This is our publication requirement for every episode using a synthetic host. We also follow Spotify's impersonation policy, which prohibits unauthorized cloning of another creator's or host's likeness.
- On YouTube: the disclosure appears in the opening presentation and near the beginning of the description. When realistic content is meaningfully altered or synthetically generated, we select “Yes” for YouTube Studio's Altered content setting as required by YouTube's synthetic-content disclosure policy.
- For audiences in the European Union: we label qualifying artificially generated or manipulated audio, images, and video clearly and distinguishably in line with the transparency principles in Article 50 of the EU AI Act.
Human accountability
Automation does not publish directly to Enchantment Dating. A human editor must review generated material for accuracy, originality, harmful assumptions, privacy, consent, and consistency with these standards. Disclosing AI use does not lower the standard of care and is not a substitute for fact-checking or editorial judgment.
Updates and corrections
Material changes receive an updated date. We correct factual errors promptly and revise advice when stronger evidence or clearer safety guidance becomes available. Readers can report a concern through our contact page.
Commercial independence
Advertising, sponsorship, affiliate relationships, or paid placements must be disclosed where they appear. Commercial relationships do not buy favorable editorial conclusions.
